Today saw Andover Archers team of Simon Smith (Compound), Vicky Loader (Compound), Abbie Loader (Recurve) and Gavin Watson (Recurve) competing in the first stage of the Ontarget Club Knockout Competition against AC Delco Bowmen. Both clubs shot very well despite the extremely windy conditions and AC Delcos were wonderful hosts as always. The match resulting in a 13 point to 8 point victory for Andover Archers, who managed to win six of the seven sections, only losing by three points in the compounds individual match.
Furthermore, club mascots, Archie and Kenny the Kettle, had a wonderful day in each others company! Well done to both clubs, and many thanks to AC Delco Bowmen for such a wonderful afternoon!
