Andover Archers once again came away with medals at the Waterside 31st Open Western Shoot.

WatersideWesternWayne Carn shooting a Long Western in the Mens Compound division came away with the bronze medal. This was only Waynes second outdoor shoot so a massive achievement. Wayne spent most of the day in 4th place but managed to put together a strong finish to push into 3rd place at the end.

Chris Newman shooting a Long Western in the Mens recurve division came away with the first place trophy. Chris finished tied in first place with Phil Spanner from FOBB with 730 points and awaited the outcome of a count back. Both archers had 96 hits and Chris won with 42 golds over Phil s 38 Golds.

Well done to both archers.
