The Team of 13
A fantastic day for Andover Archers with 13 archers (and new mascot Archie) turning out to shoot in the RN South Coast Archers Harbour shoot! Chris Newman, Nick Loader, Abbie Loader, Sonia Loader, Lucy Carn, Don Wilson, Vicky Loader, Carl Tarry, Gavin Watson and Adam Knight and Chris Burford turned out again joined by ‘first time competitors’ Wayne Carn and Simon Smith.
We ended up with an incredible medal haul;
Chris Newman– received Archer Supreme
Adam Knight– placed 3rd in the Gentlemen’s Recurve
Gavin Watson– placed 1st in the Gentlemen’s Recurve
Simon Smith– placed 2nd in the Gentlemen’s Compound
Abbie Loader– placed 1st in the Ladies Recurve
Vicky Loader– placed 1st in the Junior Girl Recurve
Lucy Carn– placed 2nd in the Junior Girl Barebow
Nick Loader & Abbie Loader– placed 2nd in the Family Pairs
Wayne Carn, Chris Burford, Nick Loader and Carl Tarry– placed 3rd in the Recurve Team
Chris Newman, Gavin Watson, Abbie Loader & Adam Knight– placed 1st in the Recurve Team

Everyone had a wonderful day, including Archie who was sat patiently behind the waiting line supporting our archers all day and accompanied every archer in receiving their medals! He even got to shake hands with the Lady Paramount every time he went up!
