Work Party – The Saxon UKRS

Field set-up will be needed on Saturday afternoon to support The Saxon.

Field duties will include:

Field preparation will require:

• Clear all club bosses to the side of the field
• Final grass cut and clearing any debris as required
• Fill in rabbit holes
• Field painting:
  • Distance lines
  • Lane walkways
  • Target ground numbering
  • Boss position marking
• Competition bosses
  • take bosses out of container and put together
  • Check boss flag holes and drill out as necessary
  • Position bosses to field target plan
  • Peg down bosses
  • Check boss brackets are secure
  • Put target pins on side of bosses x 12
  • Put boss numbers in order in box
  • Get nappies out and affix to bosses as required
• Target faces
  • If the weather is likely to be wet, target faces will need their centres and corners taping.
• Gazebo erection and ensuring the club is clean and tidy.

On Sunday morning the target faces will need to put out, along with the boss flags, numbers and any final preparations.

During the shoot, the work party will be needed to:

• Search for any missing arrows
• Boss distance changes
• Catering – cooking, serving, cake and biscuit baking.
• Score sheet collection / handout

Any assistance on the work party or during the shooting days is greatly appreciated, whether for all day or just for a morning/afternoon or, a few hours. It all helps to keep the shoot running and supports the club.
