Event: Welsh WAA/AGB 3D Championships/ C.Farr Memorial
Date: 25 – 26 April 2026
Location: Llwynypia
Host: Pentref Bowmen
Attendees from Andover Archers were Sandra Olufsen and Ed Pocket. Overall there were 88 archers attending.
You would expect to go to Wales and need a rain coat, but that was swapped with sunscreen! Another lovely tournament with roasting sun.
They do not mess around with food at Pentref Bowmen, the options for both breakfast and lunch were so many we had a hard time deciding! And let’s not forget the cakes, pies, cookies and so much more as a sweet treat!
Both days started at 10am and ended around 4pm.
- Ed Pocket came home with a gold in senior barebow men
- Sandra Olufsen came home with silver in senior longbow ladies
This was a fun and challenging shoot in a beautiful area. There was a mix of hills and flat ground making every target its own challenge. Will definitely be going again!
